25. John Chapter 1

Unique from all the other gospels, John reaches back beyond Christ’s baptism at Jordan, and beyond even His birth in Bethlehem, to the very beginning. The beginning of the Son of God in heaven with His Father.

It was through Him that our perfect world was made. But man chose to disobey. So entering in to that plan kept secret before the world began, the Light of life came to shine in the darkness, providing us with a second chance.

From this incredible chapter, we gain a knowledge of the divine origin of Christ, His great condescension to humanity, and His reception by those He came to save.
